Sunflowers, Sass, and Summer Light: Caidence’s Senior Session
Meet Caidence, one of my incredible 2026 Model Team members - funny, sassy, and kind (and brave enough to battle the mosquitoes that nearly carried us away during her late summer session!).
There’s just something about late summer light, that golden, hazy glow that makes everything feel a little bit magical. For Caidence’s senior session, we chased that light straight into the fields, from wide open farm grass to rows of towering sunflowers that seemed made just for her.
Caidence is one of those rare people who can bring both sass and sweetness to the same moment. She has this effortless charm that shines through every pose - funny, kind, and confident all at once. Whether she was surrounded by blooms or soaking in the last rays of sun in a field of gold, she made every frame come alive with personality.
Her personalized session included sunset in a dreamy sunflower field, where that warm golden light wrapped around her like a spotlight from nature itself. The vintage farm truck gave us all the rustic charm we could ask for perfectly balancing her modern confidence with timeless country vibes.
One of my favorite moments was when she held up her compact mirror and the sunrise reflected right it, it felt symbolic. The glow, the reflection, the stillness of the moment, a girl who’s stepping into her light and owning it completely.
As the session wrapped, she walked through the field and glanced back over her shoulder, the kind of effortless movement that tells a whole story in one frame. That look was pure magic, and it captured everything I love about senior portraits - confidence, beauty, and a quiet sense of “this is just the beginning.”
As one of my 2026 Senior Model Team members, Caidence spent has this first half of senior year creating amazing portraits through our styled team sessions (we still have a few more this year) but this session was all her. Her custom, individual senior session was designed to show off her individuality, her confidence, and her natural light that shines through every image.
